Looking for a pro alto that you will never feel the need to upgrade? This Selmer Super Action 80 (series 1) alto saxophone is from 1985 and is in incredible condition. The original lacquer is 95% plus but there are a couple of runs in the lacquer on the neck. It does not appear to have been re-lacquered so am assuming it was a poor job at the factory. There are no dents, dings or resolders. There are a few scratches from use, mostly on the bottom bow and near the neck strap ring. When I got it all the original pads were still on the horn but they didn’t age well, so I felt it best to give it a complete new set of pads to make sure it would play its best. And does it play!! Incredible sound, tight keywork, great intonation. This sax is ready for anything! The Super Action 80 (series 1) can play as well as the best ever made. It comes with the original case, also in great condition, and the original case key is still inside! I will also include a one year warranty with the purchase for local buyers.
