This may well be one of the most well documented saxophones on the internet. It’s a 1921 (80xxx) Buescher bass saxophone that was once the personal bass sax of Helen Kahlke. I won’t give you a big story about its history as Helen has already done a great job of that on her web site Bassic Sax (https://bassic-sax.info/version5/bass-sax-info/my-personal-bass-sax-story/). It is in very good condition for a bass saxophone, and was restored by Paul Coats and Steve Goodson about 25 (ish) years ago. It was an old school instrument for a long time so there have been many repairs over the decades. The pictures should tell the story. The pads are in excellent shape and they all appear to seal very nicely. The silver plate is close to 100% and it also has a gold wash bell. It comes with a Conn Eagle mouthpiece and a custom made case that protects the horn very well.

I am hoping to sell this one locally, but will ship it if necessary, but the buyer pays all shipping costs, including the packaging. This is a consignment sale so there is no warranty on this instrument, but I have looked it over and threw a leak light in it an it is good condition.
