This is an early SBA and one of the first to be shipped to Canada. The serial number 339XX (1947) even puts it before the tenor SBA started. This alto was professionally played by a member of the RCAF Jazz Band for years. He took very good care of the horn as it is a straight as the day it was made
The ligature is in excellent condition, the cap has some small dings and signs of use. And yes, I know I should have polished the cap, but I haven't had time.
